14-year-old pop sensation ZAK’s new single ‘My Girl’ is the perfect tonic to blast into the warmer weather of Spring. The song is bouncy and upbeat and has an incredibly catchy hook that will chase the winter blues away and leave you wanting more of the same. The pulsating rhythm takes us through the pain and loss of breakup before morphing into a classic “miss you” / “want you back” song. Along the way, ZAK gives us a glimpse into the minutiae of emotions and events that remind us of lost love and that can ultimately lead us back to it again.

Written by ZAK, Mike Krompass (who also produced), and Dan Taylor, ‘My Girl’ was recorded at BASE Culture UK after Mike heard ZAK’s music, liked what he heard, and the rest, as they say, was history.

Hailing from County Durham, ZAK is an avid performer inspired by artists new and old; he lives and breathes music. Having performed since the age of two and making his stage debut a year later, ZAK still thrives on stage and will soon be your new favourite artist.

As well as being a gifted musician, ZAK is passionate about spreading the word about anti-bullying. ZAK has had
personal experience of being bullied and feels that he is now able to offer guidance to others around bullying, online cyber safety, and overall mental health. For ZAK, the best way out of the situation was to move out of it altogether, and he is now homeschooled. This in turn has led to the
furtherance of his music career and the upcoming release of more music.

My Girl was released on 17 February.
