Australian based pop duo President Street released their latest single, ‘Heal’, on the 20th of May. Born out of a time of hurt, pain and trauma, ‘Heal’ is more than just a single. It is a symbolic message, ‘find the light from the darkness’. Sometimes you have to take a walk straight through to find it. Rebuild from the ground up, rather than covering it up until the day you fall back through the cascading potholes left in your mind. Built upon an expression of cathartic release, ‘Heal’ is a canvas painted with a palate of soulful vocals and the smooth groove of R&B, decorated with splashes of pop sensibilities and motifs. Despite the heavy, mournful lyrics and sometimes mood of the single, it comes from a place of serenity. Produced by the legendary John Reynolds, ‘Heal’, will leave you feeling alleviated and radiating in positivity.
President Street has also announced that ‘a new mini-album will be released in Autumn, composed of a collection of tracks surrounded by the themes of healing.
