Merry Christmas 2022

Are you ready for Christmas?  With just a few days to go until the joys of Christmas will be upon us, this is the perfect time to take a look at some festive wonders that have caught my ear.   As you know, I love a Christmas song and this year, I’m pleased to see that some of Angry Baby’s favourite artists of the last few years have given us a festive song , as well as a couple of new (to us) artists. 

We kick off our Christmas playlist with Terry Emm’s rerelease of his fun filled (with cute video to match) single ‘Gently‘, a gentle folk style Christmas song (another folk track is Chris Mason’s ‘One More Christmas‘).  Mick J Clark returns to our Christmas playlist with ‘Sing Glory Glory Hallelujah‘ and this year, Rowsie have also given us a Christmas track, ‘Christmas in Soho‘.

Collette Cooper‘s recently released single, ‘Dark Side of Christmas‘, from the album of the same name gives us a taster of her amazing voice and an alternative Christmas view, whilst Sarah Reeves and For King & Country have released vinyl issues of their 2021 Christmas albums.  John Owen-Jones has also released a double single for Christmas from his 2021 album, one of which is an original song, ‘On Christmas Eve‘.  

Angry Baby is taking a break for Christmas and we wish you all a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
